I recently had an interview (i didn’t get the job) but i waited unitl the end of the interview and told them that i was pregnanct and was open and honest with them. I explained that my pregnancy was healthy and that i had planned to work until as close to my due date as possible. I also expressed to them that i was a dedicated employee and didn’t let my pregnancy affect my job performance.
The way i look at it is if you’re not open and honest with them, and you do get hired, it could be a miserable next few months if they happen to be not as “pro family” as you had expected. If they hire you and know that you are pregnant you’re more likley to be in a good situation as far as needing time off for appts, etc, and having extra support at work.
